Chef Martin Bayrev started his career in 2014 in the USA. Two years later, he returned to Bulgaria and continued his professional career in a number of high-class restaurants throughout the country.
4 years ago, his affinity for cooking took him to the United Kingdom, where he honed his skills at 13th century Sneaton Castle. Martin was the only foreigner who has been voted to head the kitchen team.
Chef Martin Bayrev is a passionate admirer of healthy eating and everything related to the nature-friendly lifestyle. When preparing the food, he mainly uses natural products from the Pirin region, which is known for its ecological purity. The storage and heat treatment of the products are always subject to a basic rule – maximum preservation of the nutritional value of the products used and emphasizing their natural taste. Martin complements the pleasure of the delicious food by experimenting with herbs and spices collected in the mountains, which gives a unique taste to his dishes.
He is also tempted by modern cuisine, which makes him always look for and use the latest technology.
